Small time Bollywood actress Nupur Mehta has announced that she plans to sue the British daily, Sunday Times of London, that published her picture along with a Cricket match fixing story.

The newspaper published a story alleging her that she has been used as honeytrap by bookies to fix Cricket matches including the ICC Cricket World cup 2011 semifinal match between India and Pakistan.
Her lawyer, says “My client’s picture was used without her permission, and even though it was morphed, it was easily identifiable. We are going to send them a legal notice, and if their response is not in tandem with what we want, we’ll file a civil and criminal defamation suit.”
Nupur Mehta also adds, “I want monetary compensation plus a punishment code, and a denial in their paper.” She also hoped ke ussey “dher saari movies milein, aur itne paise ki main khud apni movies produce kar sakoon.”
Her lawyer further adds, “We’re planning to ask for 10 crores.”
Nupur Mehta, the Bollywood actress, hogged limelight when a UK based newspaper claimed that she was used as a honey-trap for luring cricketers. But Nupur has been denying the allegations since day one.
